petloovFOR BUSINESS
Let Lisbon’s pet owners book you.
Pet sitters, daycares, hotels, groomers, trainers, dog walkers and vets can join petloov from the app. It takes one form, and petloov checks every new business before owners can book it.
petloov is not on the App Store yet. If you would like to join, write to us.
How joining works
Open the business door
In the petloov app, find “Have a pet business?” at the foot of the first screen, or of Create account, and tap Join petloov for business.
Already use petloov as a pet owner? Open Settings and tap Add a business. It makes a second login with its own email, and your own account, pets and credits stay as they are.
Fill in one form
It asks for six things. A business signs in with its email and password, not with Apple.

Get ready while you are under review
A new business starts under review. Owners cannot see or book it yet, but you can already use every screen of your dashboard. Your dashboard says what is still missing:
To be approved you need something owners can book. Grooming, training, dog walking and vets add times on Spots. Pet sitting, daycare and hotels add a price per day, how many pets they take each day, and check-in and check-out times.
petloov approves you
Someone at petloov looks over each new business and approves it once it has something to book. From then on, owners can find your page and book you.
Your dashboard
The business side of the app has five tabs.
- Home
- This month's credits, your upcoming and completed bookings, the days ahead, and recent activity: new bookings, cancellations, check-in reminders and completed bookings.
- Calendar
- Your bookings by day, week and month, with how full each day is.
- Spots
- What owners can book. Booked by time: pick a day and add times to it, each with its credits and places. Booked by the day: credits per day, places per day, and check-in and check-out times.
- Credits
- The credits your bookings bring in: received from confirmed and completed bookings, and still pending.
- Account
- Edit your business name and the About text owners read, switch to another login, or close the business.
When an owner books you
A new booking arrives as pending, and the owner's credits have already left their balance. Open it to see each pet's care profile and its earlier visits to you, then confirm it or cancel it.
Confirm it by the end of the day it starts. A booking still pending then is cancelled, and the owner gets every credit back. If you cancel a booking, up to its last day, the owner gets every credit back too.
A confirmed booking is marked completed once its last day has passed.
About money
Owners book with credits, and your dashboard counts the credits your confirmed and completed bookings earn. Payments are not switched on yet, and how businesses are paid for their credits is not settled.
